Welcome to my collection of cute creepy crawly creatures.

Curious to learn more? Well I like weird creatures and a spooky aesthetic. This is visible in the things I draw and make. To give this a home I made this page. The things you’ll find are my prompt list challenge, my sculptures and I will be starting a dollhouse from the ground up. I post my short stories based on the sculptures and drawings/paintings with them. I like to write short stories with the things I make. It’s usually the way a drawings/sculptures develop, so why not write it down.

The dollhouse is a story all on it’s own. It won’t be a traditional dollhouse like you can buy for you kids to play with. It will be an entire house, you can look through the windows to see the inside. The house will come with removable walls so you can look inside better and I can change the interior if I want. I will be building a small version first to see where the removable walls will go and what I need to keep in mind when building the 1/12 scale one. The house will have electricity, to have lights and possibly moving parts. I think I’m going to use an usb-c connector on the house, so I can plug it in. I may use multiple connection points on the house depending on the amount of power it is goin to need. This project will probably start at the end of the year since I need to save money to buy the materials to build.

I'm so happy with the result. I had a lot of fun working on this couple. They are weird friends, their story will be on my TikTok tomorrow. He now has a big pincers to catch and small to eat. And an eye to see. The eye isn't done yet, I'm going to give it a glass cabochon. But that needs to be painted first. I did drill a hole in the cup, to put the wire through, and it didn't crack. The foil is so I can take him of while painting, I worked on his feet and they would bake together with the underground without the foil. No drawing today. I worked on a creature I started a while ago. It's a hermit angler called Henry, living in a coffee cup. He has a (working) light on his head to atract his food. When they get close he jumps out of his little house to catch them with his pincers. He is made from super sculpey living doll. The armature is aluminum wire, aluminum foil, and aluminum tape. The base is basswood, but since it is a bit to thin I will glue it to a piece of thicker wood. In this base wil be room for a batery holder and switch. He isn't done, but I did get a lot done today. When the clay part is done, he get's a paint job and ground cover. Today I've started a new challenge for myself. I made a huge promptlist using promptlist from pintrest and I'm going to try and finish a drawing each week with one or more prompts from my list. If a week is to short I will just take a bit more time
Today I've started a new challenge for myself. I made a huge promptlist using promptlist from pintrest and I'm going to try and finish a drawing each week with one or more prompts from my list. If a week is to short I will just take a bit more time. It may depend on the prompt or prompts I choos and my energie level if I can make it or not. The goal is to get better at drawing, finding my own style and make complete artworks, not just sketches or line drawings. For the first one I choose the promts: swamp, swamp vihicle, bug panda, skulls creature, frog, lilypad, moss, and mushrooms. I usualy don't use reference pictures, but figured it would be necessary for me to reach my goals. I did like using pictures to give me a better idea of the forms and perspectives. Now this sketch isn't done yet, it is still missing a lot, but I'm happy with the results so far. I used a 4H pencil on a sketchpad. Not sure how I'm going to color it yet. My huge prompt list challenge

I’ve started to make a prompt list from prompt lists I found on Pinterest. I took the prompts that spoke to me and that challenged me. Now I choose a prompt each week and make a drawing from that. And not just a sketch, which is what I usually do. The goal is to finish a colored drawing/ painting each week. Now live has a tendency to get in the way of goals, so if a drawing isn’t done in a week, I’ll go on till it’s finished and wait with the new prompt till the next prompt week. Some of my drawings will become sculptures. I want to write a short story with each drawing, just to practice my creative brain. But not all drawings maybe suited or inspire a short story. I post the progress pictures daily on Instagram with the #4Cprompts. If you want to join in, use that hash tack so I can see what you make. After the drawing is done I post a TikTok with the progress pictures and the short story. I will post them to this page to.

I won’t post all the prompts I have on my list, the list will be changing with time anyway, with new prompts I find or idea’s I have. I will make a list of names on the prompt lists I used, to give them the credit they deserve. If you type prompt list in Pinterest you'll probably find the same lists I found.
